What Goes into our Websites
We’ve been building websites for over 15 years. What we’ve learned is that your website is your office on the web. It should look and feel as close to your “real life” office and marketing materials as possible. It is the most easily accessed representation of you and your business.
Your website should be built on a solid foundation. Websites are not what they used to be, they need to be more than a brochure on the web, they have to be:
- flexible – functional and displaying correctly on mobile phones, tablets, laptops and many different browsers
- up-dateable – to develop a dialogue with your clients, you need to be updating your content. Adding new portfolio items and blog updates will keep you looking fresh and that you care about how your customers see you.
- integrate-able – now I’m just making up words, but your Instagram and Facebook pages need to be plugged into your site. Maximizing all the efforts you put into your various social media accounts.
- searchable – your content needs to be created for search engines as well as the people that read them. Its a fine balance to talk to both.
These are all the things we keep in mind when building your site. Our websites are also great launching points for your Online Marketing campaign. Within most campaigns we are constantly updating your content, building landing pages and modifying things behind the scenes as needed. Our sites are all built with the future in mind.
We build our sites in WordPress, but also like to help friends “Don’t do technology” and can help out with “seemingly simpler services” such as setting up your Shopify site or Squarepace accounts!
